Integrated Approaches for Sustainable and Personalized Healthcare
BioMAS addresses key public health challenges through a transversal, interdisciplinary strategy, as part of the ACTES initiative (Action Transverse Émergente d’Enjeu Sociétal).
BioMAS aims to overcome current therapeutic limitations by integrating advanced biotechnology, innovative algorithms and computational models based on experimental data to identify key biomarkers, simulate therapeutic responses, develop medical monitoring devices and automated care administration. The goal is to offer more accurate, less invasive healthcare solutions tailored to each patient, while complying with strict ethical standards and minimising the environmental footprint. BioMAS also contributes to environmental health by developing tools capable of detecting and monitoring pollutants that may affect human health and the ecosystem.
The project promotes adaptive, patient-centered diagnostics and treatments aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly health and well-being (Goal 3) and sustainable communities (Goal 11).
