Power amplifiers :
The research theme around PAs consists of studies on circuits, classes of operation, reconfigurable, multi-standard and multi-mode architectures, impedance matching and load variation issues seen by the PA.
The performance of efficiency enhancement techniques (Doherty, ET, etc) for high PAPR signals is also studied.
The performance of power amplifiers on emerging technologies (GFET, GaN) and advanced technologies (SiGe 130nm, FDSOI 28nm)
LNA-Mixer circuits:
CMOS UWB LNA implementation: 3-5GHz, 3-8GHz & 0.5-9GHz.
Bandwidth, power and area trade-off.
LNA-Antenna co-integration mmW
Adaptive LNA with digital control and/or mismatch compensation

Power amplifiers :
The work carried out in this theme concerns self-healing, i.e. the capacity of the circuit (here a PA) to be robust to variations (temperature, process) and to adapt to the environment (e.g. to high VSWR)

Compromise bandwidth, power consumption and surface area.
