The GIS Albatros has developed joint actions on five themes: (1) UAV mission systems and autonomous systems, (2) human engineering and collaborative systems , (3) signal and image processing, (4) electronics architecture and (5) manufacturing and aeronautical maintenance. Two cross-cutting themes have recently been added to the research areas: cyber security and artificial intelligence.
The GIS Albatros deploys a wide range of collaboration formats, which will evolve and grow over time: supervision of internships and doctoral theses, studies, but also scientific animation (scientific days, Albatros Techno Day, etc.). Note that a call for micro-projects and emerging projects are launched every year.
Its objective is to encourage the emergence of scientific innovations, to stimulate the opening of new avenues of research, to initiate a reflection on scientific or technical barriers to the development of the skills of the partners of the group and to encourage as far as possible cross-cutting actions between the scientific themes.
