IMS laboratory has a know-how and skills recognized for more than 20 years in the field of design and measurement of integrated circuits on silicon technologies in the RF and millimeter range.
NXP Semiconductors has know-how and skills in the field of semiconductors applied to silicon sensors in the RF and millimeter range and in particular for automotive radar applications and offers the most integrated radio chipsets.
Given their complementary skills, the company NXP Semiconductors and the IMS laboratory are collaborating through a framework agreement on the theme of automotive radar, the mmW applications and the signal transfer. The SR Com NXP-IMS involves 6 engineers from NXP and 5 researchers from IMS. 7 PhD students are currently developing their research work within this collaboration.
The proposed activities are organized around the following themes :
- CMOS circuit design in millimeter band
- Modeling of radar signal
- Radio signal processing at system level
