CIH

Team “Cognitique and Human Engineering” (CIH) brings together faculty and partners of Ecole Nationale Supérieure d de Cognitique (Superior National School of Cognitic).

It is associated with the specialty “engineering cognitique” of the Graduate School of Physical Sciences and Engineering (ED SPI 209 – training “Automatic, Industrial Engineering, Signal and Image, Engineering, Cognitique.

Scientific presentation

This is an interdisciplinary theme that applies to three areas:

Engineering of the human factor and human / system interfaces:

Integration man-systems (aeronautics, space, housing, transport, etc.)
Evaluation of users and individual uses,
Human study (individual) augmented situation
Simulations and integrative new interfaces;

Management and technology knowledge and skills:

Comparative study of theories of knowledge and communication,
Navigation and uses in the knowledge bases,
Transfer of know-how between communities of users,
Cultures of information in organizations;

Augmented Human, Accessibility and use of technology for help and locum (neuropsychology and cognitive constraints of users):

Study of the use of ICT for accessibility and integration (professional and personal)
Consideration of cognitive parameters, sensory and psychomotor,
Assessment of ergonomic and cognitive constraints of a digital device user, accessibility and performance of information systems.

Within this team research and innovation strategies are closely related. The team is particularly attentive to the social and economic needs identified by the initiated and maintained contacts with companies or institutional domain.

Regarding training, research and transfer “cognitique engineering” team and ENSC wish to become a reference in the field of collaborative and shared cognitique engineering (KX: Knowledge Exchange) “collaborative technical men systems complex “, while maintaining its assertive competence in the field of integration and human-system technology uses (UX : User Experience).

As part of the research, methodological and technical tools from this approach are developed and then “re-injected” into the curriculum. Thus, this approach ensures the strategic thematic and operational coherence between the activities of research and training.
