Anthony Ghiotto awarded the distinguished title of IEEE Fellow

Effective January 1, 2026, Anthony Ghiotto is now elevated to IEEE Fellow in recognition for the excellence and international impact of his work in the field of microwave technologies and RF circuits.

With more than 486,000 engineering and STEM professionals across a wide range of disciplines, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.

As of January 1, 2026, Anthony Ghiotto has been elevated to the grade of IEEE Fellow, the highest level of IEEE membership, in recognition of his contributions to substrate integrated waveguide technologies.
This elevation follows a rigorous evaluation process led by the IEEE Fellow Committee, in which fewer than 0.1% of voting members are selected each year. The decision was announced by the IEEE Board of Directors in November 2025.

Anthony Ghiotto is an Associate Professor at Bordeaux INP / ENSEIRB-MATMECA and conducts his research within the IMS Laboratory, in the Circuit Design research group.
His current research interests include the analysis and design of microwave and millimeter wave circuits and antennas integrated in PCB (including SIW and Air-Filled SIW) and silicon technologies for telecommunication and radar applications.
This prestigious distinction highlights the excellence and international impact of his work in microwave technologies and RF circuits.

For many years, Anthony Ghiotto has contributed to the scientific influence of the IMS Laboratory through innovative research, high-level collaborations and the supervision of numerous doctoral students. It is inspiring to see his remarkable scientific commitment and globally recognized expertise honored in this way.
The IMS Laboratory is proud to support his outstanding scientific journey and to share in major professional achievements such as this one.
