Barna Keresztes Ph.D. is a researcher in image processing and the technical leader of the Imagro platform, specialized in proximal imaging in agricultural applications and other aspects of the precision agriculture. With over a decade of experience in this field, his research focuses on fruit detection and counting, fruit quality asessment, disease and weed detection, phenotyping and the temporal analysis of the plant development. His research focuses on artificial intelligence applied in agriculture and its application in the edge domain.

He also developed several cameras and imaging systems for in-field and indoor acquisition.

Barna Keresztes has published several papers in international conferences and peer-reviewed journals, and has received several awards for his work.
