PhD opportunity in electronics and sensing

The IMS laboratory is looking for a motivated PhD candidate to join the SWEATPATCH research project and work on remote sweat skin patch for monitoring breast cancer therapeutic response.

SWEATPATCH envisions to radically improve patients’ quality of life through personalized monitoring to tailor the therapeutic strategy in real-time.

As a PhD student, your work will be a part of a collaborative project, funded under the EIC PATHFINDER OPEN European program. 

Thesis title: « Protocol Establishment and Performance Assessment of Graphene-Based Sensors for Monitoring Breast Cancer Therapeutic Response in Controlled Conditions »

Location: IMS laboratory, Bordeaux, France
Start date: between January and March 2025
Duration: 3 years

Expected skills in functional nanomaterials, sensor development and evaluation, simulation and numerical modeling, and fabrication and characterization of nanotechnological devices.
