The IMS laboratory is looking for a motivated intern to work on deep learning models for assessing meat quality in order to modernize carcass classification.

Project title: « Development of deep learning models for estimating the sensory quality of meat using image analysis »
- Location: IMS laboratory and Bordeaux Sciences Agro, Bordeaux, France
- Salary: approx. €600 net/month
- Start date: February-March, 2026
- Duration: 5 to 6 months
The candidate is expected to be a 3rd year engineering school student or Master’s student, with solid knowledge in image processing and/or artificial intelligence. Skills in development languages such as Python and artificial intelligence tools such as Pytorch are also highly desired.
