The IMS Laboratory at the 2025 IEEE RFIC Symposium

The 2025 IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium (RFIC) took place from June 15 to 17 in San Francisco, California, USA, with significant contributions from members of the IMS Laboratory.

As the premier event for innovation and technical excellence dedicated to Radio Frequency (RF), millimeter-wave (mmWave), and wireless Integrated Circuits (ICs), IEEE RFIC Symposium 2025 brought together leading experts from around the world.

Renowned for its dynamic mix of scientific presentations, technical sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and awards, the symposium continues to foster innovation and inclusivity. It not only showcases cutting-edge research but also plays a key role in shaping the future of RFIC design and inspiring the next generation of engineers.

This year, the event was opened by Dr. François Rivet, researcher at the IMS Laboratory and Associate Professor at Bordeaux INP ENSEIRB-MATMECA, who served as General Chair.
This is a remarkable achievement and a proud moment for the IMS Laboratory to see one of its own take on such a prominent leadership role at an international level.

The IMS Laboratory also extends its congratulations to two of its other members who made valuable contributions during the symposium:
Yann Deval, co-organizer of the workshop « Low-to-Ultra-Low Power RFIC: Technologies, Architectures and Circuit Design » ;
Tarek Bouzar, contributor to the workshop « Challenges and Opportunities in On-Wafer Measurements at mm-Wave Frequencies for Future Applications » with a technical paper entitled « Addressing SiGe HBT Measurement Challenges Through the 16-Error-Term Calibration Method ».

Once again, the IMS Laboratory is proud to support and celebrate the accomplishments of its talented team. Their dedication and expertise continue to strengthen the lab’s reputation on the global stage.
