Internship position in quantum technologies

The IMS laboratory is looking for a motivated intern to work on the development of a circuit for analog-to-digital conversion within modular and programmable instrumentation in order to enhance quantum technology applications.

Project title: « Design of an ultra-low power, wideband Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) to tackle the challenges of quantum technologies »

  • Location: IMS laboratory, Bordeaux, France
  • Salary: approx. €600 net/month
  • Start date: February 1, 2026
  • Duration: 6 months

The candidate is expected to be a 3rd year engineering school student or Master’s student, specialized in electronics or microelectronics, and with an interest in telecommunications. Solid background in integrated circuit design and proficiency with simulation tools (Matlab, Cadence, etc.) are also highly desired.
