Christophe JEGO was born in Auray, France, in 1973. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Université Rennes 1, Rennes, France, in 1996 and 2000, respectively. He joined the Electronic Engineering Department of TELECOM Bretagne, Brest, France, as a full-Time Associate Professor in 2001. He was a visiting professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, during 10 months (Sept. 2006 - June 2007). In 2009, he received Research Habilitation from University of Bretagne Sud, Lorient, France. It is the highest French university diploma passed after a few years of active research and student supervision. He joined the graduate engineering school ENSEIRB-MATMECA, Bordeaux, France, as a full-Time Professor in 2010. Currently, he is member of the CNRS IMS laboratory, UMR 5218. His research activities are concerned with analysis and design of architectures for iterative processing in the digital communication systems.
